I hope you are enjoying WPPI in Las Vegas!  We are offering 15% off our design shoppe through 3/17/10 with discount code “wppi”.  If you are a homebody like me, you are of course welcome to use the code, too.

We are fine tuning Rock the Walls v2, and anticipate its release on 3/12/10.  I teamed up with another of my talented sisters and our paint brushes for this update, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Also, effective March 1, 2010, we will be contributing 5% of proceeds through the end of the year to 2 causes close to our heart…God’s Littlest Angels, a Haitian orphanage connected with a reputable adoption agency local to us, and the UMDF (United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation).  I have 8 nieces and nephews affected by this debilitating disease, and research funded by the UMDF regarding mitochondrial function is yielding invaluable information and hope for this and other diseases including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and cancer.

As we enjoy a little warmth this week in Michigan, we wish you sunshine and green grass!

I am excited to be adding products from the Dream Album Company for my studio customers this year!  Coordinating with our favorite designs from our Sketchy Borders, our image box templates are available as Dotty, Star and/or Rose sets.  We LOVE the Dotty set for seniors and weddings!  Each set contains multiple image box options for both the 5×7 and 8×10 boxes from the Dream Album Company (4 cover and 4 back designs are included for each size.).  In addition, several coordinating back of the mat designs (similar to the image box backs) are provided for both sizes in each set.  Each themed set sells for $25, or you may purchase all three together for $50.  You may purchase them here!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I LOVE The Savvy Photographer blog!  There’s so many creative ideas to be found there.  We are being featured today, and that’s always a great reason to have a sale!  Just use code “savvy” for 15% off our Rock the Walls or Sketchy Collection templates through 11/25/09.

Also, Firefly Frames has just released the most adorable circle frames!  Emily at Firefly Frames has been itching to create these for two years, and now with the help of ProLab Express to cut circles in our mounted photographs, its possible!  I love these and can’t wait to create more wall layouts which include them…keep your eyes open for future releases.  There are such possibilities!

We are so enjoying using these artsy creations with our customers (and our own photos)!  You may take 15% off our entire store through October 23 with discount code “sketchy” (in celebration of getting these little drawings out of my head!).  Visit www.lifeartdesign.com for more info and to view our Sketchy Borders gallery.

If you haven’t yet discovered the Savvy Photographer blog, you will love it!  Click below to check it out!

Another resource I love is Michele Baratta’s jewelry!  They have begun offering a photographer program which is perfect for studios (No sales minimums/parties to worry about!).  I have a number of her portrait pieces and wear them A LOT!  It is by far the most comfortable portrait jewelry I’ve found!  More information (and shopping!) can be found at michelebarratta.com.  Click on photographers in the middle of the page for the photographer program info.

These adorable pictures are by Lindee Magee of Lindee Magee Photography.  She created a beautiful personal nursery for her little one with this 24×30 gallery wrap canvas…the perfect scale for her crib.  And I love the chandelier!  Chandeliers and creative lights are some of my favorite accessories in nurseries.  World Market currently has some adorable paper lanterns…I love the safari lanterns for boys’ rooms.  Check them out here

I love the simplicity of this mantle display.  The portraits are large in scale, filling the tall space perfectly.
